Arts and crafts is a timeless, tried and true camp activity. Woodcrafters are given the opportunity to explore their creativity in our arts and crafts center. The Woodcraft arts and crafts program includes many of the old staples -- clay, painting, wood carving, bead work, and of course friendship bracelets. Campers also do new activities like button making and a new favorite -- duct tape wallets and purses.
Jo Ann, our arts and crafts director, has a master of fine arts degree and several years of teaching experience. She runs a program that offers the perfect balance of structure and independence. Campers can pursue their own artistic interests while benefiting from the instruction of an expert. The beautiful natural setting often inspires campers to find creativity they didn't even know they had. Every summer campers leave with memorable pieces of art as a token of their Woodcraft experience.
