Few lakes in the Adirondack Mountains receive as much use as Lake Kan-Ac-To during the summer months. Trail Campers paddling to breakfast, Wenonahs sailing during an activity period, Ranger Posters jumping off the high-board at general swim, Hads catching fish; activity is non-stop. Kan-ac-to is the center of life at Adirondack Woodcraft Camp, and has been for 88 years.
|“Earth and sky, woods and fields, lakes and rivers, the mountain and the sea, are excellent schoolmasters, and teach some of us more than we can ever learn from books.”|
~ John Lubbock
